Whatever your reason for wanting one, there’s always a way to save on an Echo device, from the latest generation Echo Dot to Amazon’s latest Echo Show 10. Even when they’re sold at full price, Amazon offers a 25% discount when you trade in certain devices, which means there are always other ways to save money when no model is on sale.
The best Echo Dot deals
Last year, Amazon released the fourth generation of the Echo Dot, which looks more like a sphere than an actual dot. But if you prefer the previous design, don’t worry-Amazon hasn’t abandoned the third-generation Echo Dot, which keeps the familiar dot shape and is currently on sale for $34.99 at Amazon, a small discount from its usual retail price. You can even get one for free at Amazon if you add a third-generation Echo Dot and an eligible Fire TV smart TV to your cart and use the promo code FTVDOT22 at checkout.
We recently saw the latest version of the Echo Dot drop to a historic low of $29.99, but it’s currently only available on Amazon for $39.99. Amazon also sells a model with a built-in LED screen that displays the time, weather, and other information for $5 more.
If you prefer another retailer, Target and Best Buy also sell the fourth-generation Dot for $39.99. There’s also a discount on the fourth-generation Dot with built-in LED display, which is currently available at Target and Best Buy for $44.99.
The best deals for the Echo Dot Kids Edition
The fourth-generation Echo Dot Kids Edition is as spherical as its adult version, but it looks like a tiger or panda. The device also comes with a year of Amazon’s Kids Plus service, which provides access to a wide range of kids’ content, including audiobooks and games.
They currently price the Kids Edition at $44.99 on Amazon, a small discount from the normal price of $60. If you prefer another retailer, Target and Best Buy also sell the Kids Edition for the same price.
The best Amazon Echo deals
The fourth-generation Amazon Echo also got a makeover in 2020. Like the aforementioned fourth-generation Echo Dot, the latest Amazon Echo has a sphere-like design, but it’s significantly larger than the Echo Dot. That said, it also has a built-in smart home hub and produces better sound, thanks to a pair of 0.8-inch tweeters and a 3-inch woofer.
We’ve seen the Echo go as low as $60 during retail events like Amazon Prime Day and Black Friday, but it’s currently only available at Amazon, Best Buy and Target for $79.99, a $20 discount.
If you’re looking for a bundle deal, you can get the latest Echo on Amazon with a pair of fourth-generation Echo Dots for $159.97 or a unit with a wall mount for $104.98. These aren’t the lowest prices we’ve seen for these bundles, but they’re still a good discount if you buy in bulk.
The best Amazon Echo Studio deals
If you’re interested in an Alexa smart speaker with better audio quality and support for Dolby ATMOS, the Echo Studio is the Amazon product to check out.
There are no deals currently available for the Echo Studio, but it is available for purchase at its regular price of $199.99 on Amazon. Amazon is also offering an Echo Studio Billie Eilish Limited Edition with the singer’s image pasted on the side for $229.99.
The best deals for the Echo Show 5
If you’re looking for a compact Echo device that functions more like a smart clock than an entertainment speaker, the Echo Show 5 is the Echo device to consider. The latest edition, which launched in June, features an always-on microphone, an improved 2MP camera, a 5.5-inch screen and a physical shutter, allowing you to block the camera view.
While we recently saw the latest Echo Show 5 sell for as little as $44.99, it’s currently only available for $59.99 at Amazon. While the current sale price isn’t its lowest price yet, it’s still a nice discount from the usual $84.99 price.
The best deals for the Echo Show 5 Kids Edition
The Echo Dot isn’t the only Echo device with a kid-friendly design. The Echo Show 5 Kids Edition offers all the same features as the standard second-generation Echo Show 5, but with a vibrating print on the back and a year’s worth of Amazon Kids Plus service, which gives your family access to a host of videos, games and other kid-friendly content. It even comes with a two-year warranty, offering a little protection against anything your kid might (literally) throw at it.
The Echo Show 5 Kids Edition is currently available for $59.99, which is $25 less than its normal retail price, at Amazon. If you’re looking for add-ons, you can also pick up an Echo Show 5 Kids Edition with an adjustable stand for $89.99 on Amazon.
The best deals for the Echo Show 8
Like the Echo Show 5, the Echo Show 8 is available in two separate models, both with an 8-inch screen and two speakers. However, unlike the first-generation Echo Show 8, the new model comes with a 13MP camera and some unique software tricks, one of which allows it to keep the subject centered in the frame as it moves.
When compared to the Google Home Hub and the second-generation Nest Hub, their closest competitors in terms of price and features, both iterations of the Echo Show 8 are better options for a few reasons: they have slightly larger screens, better speakers, and cameras that let you use them as video chat devices for Zoom calls. In fact, we found the Echo Show 8 to be better than other devices in Amazon’s current lineup of smart displays, which is why we think it’s the best smart display for most people.
As far as it deals go, the first generation Echo Show 8 is currently available on Amazon for $69.99, a significant discount off its $109.99 price tag. Amazon is also offering six months of Amazon Music Unlimited to select customers, and you can buy a first-generation Echo Show 8 and a Blink Mini security camera for $94.99 ($50 off).
As for the second-generation Echo Show 8, it’s currently available on Amazon for $89.99, $40 off its retail price. Both retailers (Amazon) are also offering the latest Echo Show 8 with a Blink Mini for $114.99. Amazon is also selling two other bundles, one with a battery-operated base for $139.98 and the other with an adjustable stand for $114.98.
The best deals for the Echo Show 10
Last year, Amazon launched a third-generation Echo Show 10. The device features a 10.1-inch HD display and, unlike the Show 5 and Show 8, the 2021 model lets you adjust the angle of the screen. It’s also mounted on a motorized swivel base that allows the screen to follow you around. If you plan on making a lot of video calls, this is the model for you.
We’ve seen the latest Echo Show 10 discounted down to $200, but no active offer is available. But if you still want to buy it, you can find it right now for $249.99 on Amazon. Amazon is also offering a discounted bundle, which includes an Echo Show 10 and Blink Mini for $274.99 instead of $284.98, as well as six months of Amazon Music Unlimited for select customers.
