If you’re in the market for a new TV, it’s not too early to check out the sales already available online ahead of next month’s Black Friday. We’ll see more than the day gets closer, but those who want to grab an opportunity now need to look no further than Sony’s one-day sale on Amazon. The online retailer has discounted a lot of Sony devices today - including some of our favorite headphones - and a few Sony 4K smart TVs are also on sale. These include the 65-inch Sony A9G Master Series OLED Bravia Smart TV, which is 43 percent off and a record $1,700 off. The Sony X950H 4K LED smart TVs are also 25% off, so you can get one starting at $950.

Although the Bravia set dates back to 2019, it’s still a solid OLED TV with plenty of high-end benefits. First, you get all the benefits of OLED, which means better colors, excellent contrast, and deep blacks. It plays 4K HDR content, supports Dolby Vision and features the company’s Acoustic Surface Audio+ speaker, giving you more immersive sound quality. The set runs Android TV, which means you can use the Google Assistant to play content and control the system - but it also supports Alexa voice commands, if you prefer to use that. On top of all that, it has a dedicated gaming mode for smoother gaming sessions, and it supports AirPlay 2 and HomeKit.
Those who aren’t set on OLED for their next TV should consider the Sony X950H 2020 sets on sale - the 55-inch model is down to $950 while the 65-inch set is on sale for $1,200. While the picture quality isn’t the same as an OLED TV, these TVs have locally dimmed LED backlighting and many of the advanced features present on the A9G. You’ll get the Android TV operating system, support for Google Assistant and Alexa, Game Mode, as well as AirPlay 2 and HomeKit compatibility.
