Rihanna is officially a billionaire, making her the richest female musician in the world, Forbes announced today.
But most of the pop star's monumental fortune, which Forbes has estimated at $1.7 billion, does not come from the artist's hit parade, but rather from her successful venture into the beauty and fashion world. Fenty Beauty, of which she now owns 50%, is estimated at $1.4 billion, and much of her wealth also comes from her ultra-successful lingerie line Savage X Fenty, worth an estimated $270 million.
Rihanna is far from the only media mogul to have achieved success with a cosmetics line.
